The DALC Excellence Awards
The annual DALC Awards recognise the outstanding work done throughout Derbyshire in the local council sector.
The awards - now in their seventh year - are split into four categories; BHIB Council of the Year, Blachere Illumination Clerk of the Year, CCLA Councillor of the Year and,
new for 2024
, TDP Environmental Project of the Year.
Nominations can be made from within a council, or by members of the public, and are simply a description (500 words max.) of why a council, councillor, clerk or project deserves an award for the work done in the previous financial year.
So - if you've
made a real difference to your local community, your council
has been involved in a special project that you’re especially proud of, or your
clerk has gone the extra mile to do a great job, we want to hear about it!
Making a Nomination
If you would like to make a nomination for 2024 Clerk, Councillor, Council or Environmental Project of the year, please do so on this nomination form before 31st July 2024.
