All courses are online unless a venue is listed, and are open to all councillors and clerks.   

Course places are also available to councils who are not DALC members (see individual course/s for non-member fees, or email us at info@derbyshirealc.gov.uk for more details).

In addition, we offer bespoke training to whole councils (member and non-member), on subjects such as councillor essentials, civility & respect, and strategic forward-planning.  These are usually 'in-person' sessions at a council's meeting venue - please get in touch for more details.

Courses marked  (EM)  are those to which DALC's Enhanced Membership councils can send up to three delegates free-of-charge – they are also open to all other members and clerks, plus non-members.

Please note:  you must give at least two weeks notice of any cancellations to avoid your council being charged in full. Sessions will only run if there are sufficient bookings.  In the event of an emergency on the day please call the office on 01629 826655.
